School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support

At Croydon SDS, School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive school community. Our approach is built around our values of Care, Share, Do Your Best, and Be Safe, which are explicitly taught and reinforced across all settings. Behaviour expectations are adapted to meet the diverse needs of our learners and taught using visuals, modelling, and consistent routines. Staff use data to guide decision-making, provide proactive support, and celebrate positive behaviour to keep students motivated. This framework fosters a culture where every student can engage, learn, and thrive. Families are encouraged to be active partners in supporting positive behaviour, ensuring consistency between home and school. Over time, this shared commitment strengthens student wellbeing, independence, and lifelong learning.
